Brain-Machine Interface could help Paralyzed people walk.

Thanks to the University of Washington, they now created a machine that possibly could cure paralyzation. The machine turns brain signals into electrical impulses, and then transports them to your paralyzed limbs, ignoring the damaged spinal cord. It is really cool.

Man Leaves $10,000,000 dollar lotto ticket to widow.

Donald Peters, 79, died from a Heart Attack while he was doing yardwork. The ironic thing is the had a winning lotto ticket but didn't know. His wife, Charlette, was so sad of his death that she just passed aside the lotto tickets. Two months later on January, 2, 2009, at a local market she discovered that she had won. She is now deciding if she wants the $6,000,000 pre-tax lumpsum, or $477,300 for the next 21 years (I would go with the lump sum because she's 78).

"President" Barack Obama's Day.

All of his VIPs arrived before him. Barack Obama, his wife, and Joe Biden was met by has guards in front of the White House standing in a salute position. Bush and his Wife met them too. They will be meeting in the Blue Room talking about ideas and such they arrive at 9:53-56. This will be the seventh inauguration ceremony held on the west front of the U.S. Capitol. The Supreme Court Justices also arrived along with Sandra Day O'Connor. When Bush and Obama finished their coffee, and they drove slowly to Capitol Hill. The Clinton's, Carter's, and Bushes Seniors arrived. He was inaugurated at approx. 12:05 PM. He then begins his speech with, him thanking us and President Bush. He tells us what is going on. He tells us all the bad things that has happened to us.He tells us how hard it will be to face our challenges but he says they will be met. He says that we all deserve a chance to be happy. Says we are the most rich nation on the earth. Says we need to remake America. He defends his crappy politics. He Says that we are ready to lead once more. He said we have different cultures and religions but are as one. He said we must find peace. It's kind of hard to say what he's saying because he talks about a lot of stuff. He honors the soldiers that died at Arlington National Cemetery. He ended with "God Bless you and God Bless America.". Then most of the people left. The President and I think some of his VIPs had Lunch. Ted Kennedy had a lengthy seizure and was rushed to the hospital. He recovered quickly. Then the Inaugural Parade started. Obama got in his limo and slowly went to the White House with a bunch of other car's, as well as the Secret Service in front, on the sides, and in the back. Many people cheered. Then when Barack Obama got to the Review Chamber he watched all of the excellent performances. It was probably really really cold. But in the chamber, thankfully, it had heaters. We wouldn't want him to end up like William Henry Harrison, who died 30 days after office of Pneumonia for staying outside too long. Then later on Former President Bush lands in Crawford, Texas for his retirement. I wonder what he is going to do. Anyway, Martin Luther King Jr's family spoke. And they also had the Inaugural Balls. It was truly a wonderful day.

The following is actually just something for the future with my kids so you don't have to read it

What I did: I got up, and turned on the TV. I got a Ham and Cheese lean pocket. I got a Coffee Mug and filled it with water. I ate the Lean Pocket, and continued to watch. It then drizzled snow, It was amazing because usually it snows in February. It was not that much and didn't last long. But that made me think, is this all we get? Are we not going to get snow in February that's three or four times that? Anyway. I decided later to go over to the couch, just to feel more comfortable. Little did I know I ended up falling asleep. But I didn't sleep that long, about 5-10 minutes. Gramma woke me up saying I should see this and luckily he was about to be sworn in. So that was that. I then got back over here for his Inaugural address, I wrote about it, and then Gramma said she had to put something else on for her to go to sleep, so we put on What's My Line, a TV show from the 50s. I went back over to the couch, fell asleep again. Then I got back up and FINISHED school. I worked a little bit in the living room. I ate Lunch and then I got over here typing what I did today.

President George W. Bush's last speech as President.

The president made his last speech tonight, here are some notes I took all put together.

President Bush started out as him saying it is his honor to be the president. He shares alot of his final thoughts. He says a bunch of mushy stuff about Obama and wants us to support him. HE thanks his administration and family, also the American people. He recalls all the events on 9/11 and the badge that a police officers wife gave him. He said he vowed to do everything i his power to keep us safe. He talks about how advanced we have gotten in this world. Talks about how we helped Pakistan and Iraq become less of a dictatorship. He thanks all the security of America such as the army. He tells us how we need to rebuild alot of America and promote liberty. He predicts how we will be in the future. He talks about our progress and what he has done while he has been in office. He keeps saying this is a tough time. He lies saying that a bunch of stuff he did was good things. He said we don't deserve bad things which we don't. He adds we must not let down our guard. We must maintain our moral clarity. He says that were young and full of vitality. He talks about a doctor and a former inmate that helps inmates be good people. He also talked about a Sergeant that saved some marines. He also speaks about a surgeon from California whose son gave his life for us. The doctor then wanted to join and be a medic in the field and he couldn't be there that day because he is being deployed. He says we will never tire, falter or fail. He said that are good and tough days, and adds that he is inspired by America. He says More mushy things about America and he says "Goodnight, may God bless this house and our next president, and my God bless you and this fellow country".

I feel, being a die hard Republican, ecstatic that President George W. Bush is leaving office. He was a really bad president. I wouldn't say he was the worst but he did a lot of bad things. I think this was a excellent speech though. He didn't lie much in it and I was happy to have listened too it. I can't say I will miss him but I can say I will miss his Charisma.

Purple Tomatoes could Cure Cancer.

A team at the John Innes Center took two genes from a "snapdragon flower" and added it to a tomato plant. It came out to be Purple tomatoes. Well the tomatoes are now rich in an almost anti-cancer antioxidant "Anthocyanin". Anthocyanin has been proven to slow the growth of Colon Cancer, reduce the chance of vision loss, keeping obeisty at bay, and also protect you from Heart Disease. These tomatoes have been tested on Rats and they lived longer then the average age. They are going to at a time test it on humans and this could be the Cure of Cancer.

German Engineers Create 'Hotel Room of the Future'

The German people at the Ritz-Carlton hotel has created a Hotel Room of the Future. There isn't a straight line in it. If you don't like the color of the wall or you just want to experiment just grab a remote and click the color you want. The bathroom mirror doubles as a computer screen so you can check your email or do other stuff. The bed is voice controlled so if you want it could rock you gently like a baby's cradle. There is also a vapor pot that if you want puffs Lemon Scent into the room. Also a mini-robot that brings you drinks!
